SPIKE
Spike was the newsletter of the Essex Association and appeared in various forms over the years and under several editors. Ken edwards launched the magazine in the 1970's in paper form, nut perhaps its best manifestations came under the guidance of 'Elvie' Paul Elvington in the early years of the 21st century. Its last recorded edition was in October 2003 dedicated to the two players who lost their lives during the Poole Tournament. After this there no one willing to take on the role and eletronic media were taking over.
