The sportshall is the Mildmay
Building, Anglia Ruskin University, Rivermead Campus, Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford,
Essex, CM1 1SQ. It is a modern hall ideal for volleyball with a sprung wood floor plus
men’s and women’s changing rooms with showers. It is accessible to
disabled

Access to Rivermead is from the roundabout on the B1008 Rectory Lane,
New Street.
After passing the shops on the left and going over the second roundabout
a road goes off to the left which has a raisable barrier. Follow this road round to
the Tindal Building on the right. If you cannot get through directly at the end into
the Mildmay Sportscentre car park, go back to opposite the Tindal Building and take the
road that leads to a car park. Enter the car park (Evenings the barrier will rise
and you are given a tcket which you can use to exit - there is no charge).
Go through the car park to the bottom corner, back near the road and you
can pass through to the Mildmay Car park. |
