Essex Conference A Brentwood Wildthings beat Chelmsford 1. 3-0 - set scores 25-11, 25-22, 25-18 Chelmsford first team had an unproductive encounter with current league and cup champions Brentwood Wildthings. Although they had taken a set in both the cup and the league match earlier in the season, Chelmsford this time were well beaten by a strong Wildthings side looking to show why they are unbeaten in the county for some years. The set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-18 showed there were times when the visitors troubled the champions, but also that this was not sustained for long enough to do real damage.
